Each year, the first weekend of March, the Heineken Regatta comes to Sint Maarten! Competitive sailing, parties and top entertainment make for an exciting time to visit the island! There are many wonderful spots around the island to view (GCBC often has a front-row seat), and a variety of ways to participate… both on the land and at sea!

All you need to do is inform the Front Desk at Check-in or anytime during your stay of the dates you won’t be needing housekeeping. $5 are then donated to a local charity for every participation.

Our 4,000+ square foot conference center was designed for dual purpose! During hurricane season, it is a designated shelter for up to 150 people. Self-sufficient, with its own water tank, protected generator, high-end ventilation system and hurricane-resistant windows. It even has a rooftop emergency helipad and dedicated parking for emergency services.
