The Sunset Café and Bar overlooks an incredible palette of turquoise and blue across the bay and Petite Plage beach. Visitors come for the breathtaking views and return once they discover our passion for culinary delights and commitment to service. Open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, The Sunset Café invites guests to enjoy elegant open-air dining with a picturesque ocean backdrop or the tasteful ambiance of dining indoors. Start your day with a delectable French pastry or a full breakfast with favorites like omelets and eggs Benedict. For lunch, enjoy an energizing meal—perhaps a hearty burger to savor by the beach. In the evening, the café transforms into a romantic candle-lit French restaurant, where fresh Moules-frites, delicious steaks, and mouthwatering desserts are paired with views of the serene bay and distant Anguilla.

New to the property, the Moonrise Bar & Lounge offers the perfect vantage point for the island’s most beautiful sunsets. Open from just before lunch through sunset, it’s an inviting space to enjoy refreshing cocktails, light bites, and tapas while relaxing by the pool or gathering with friends. Guests can settle in for an afternoon snack, a leisurely drink, or a sunset toast as the sky transforms into shades of gold and rose. The Moonrise also serves as a versatile venue for private events and weddings, providing a stunning backdrop for celebrations both intimate and grand.

The Heineken Regatta

Each year, the first weekend of March, the Heineken Regatta comes to Sint Maarten! Competitive sailing, parties and top entertainment make for an exciting time to visit the island! There are many wonderful spots around the island to view (GCBC often has a front-row seat), and a variety of ways to participate… both on the land and at sea!

Petite Plage Beach

Petite Plage Beach (“Little Beach”) is a pristine sandy beach tucked away on the North end of Grand Case and connected to Grand Case Beach Club.

Very private and quite often uncrowded – a true “gem” for swimming, snorkeling and sunbathing. For guests of Grand Case Beach Club, beach chairs and umbrellas are provided on the beach and include drink and food services through The Sunset Cafe.

COVID-19 UPDATES

Grand Case Beach Club

Health and Safety measures have been put in place to ensure the safety of all our guests and staff. They are subject to change.

We are committed to respecting government-imposed safety measures. Each member of our staff has been trained by an approved training Center for the Organization and Management of Customer Relations in Health Crisis Periods. Every room has it’s own air conditioning system and units are spread out in 5 buildings with open corridors and stairwells. Our sunny and breezy oceanfront location allows for an abundance of fresh healthy air.

Wearing a mask is optional throughout the public areas in the hotel. Hand sanitizer is at your disposal in all these public areas and we encourage you to use it regularly.

Throughout your stay. Please open windows and sliding doors in the room as much as possible and at least once a day to allow healthy ventilation.

Cleaning service is provided every day. The room must be vacated for 4 hours during this time and we ask that you inform the reception when you leave the room on the day the cleaning is due. If you do not need cleaning service on a certain day, please notify the reception or leave a “Do not disturb” sign on your door.

The swimming pool is open but there can be no more than 10 people at the same time and social distancing must be respected.

‍

Departure – The room must be vacated at 11:00 a.m. to allow for disinfection and complete cleaning of the room for the next arrival.

We ask you to open the sliding door before leaving the room, making sure that the screen door remains closed. The keys to the room and the lock to the safe should be left on the table. Your invoice can also be sent to you by email. The hotel reserves the right to charge your credit card for any missing or damaged items in the room after check-out.

The Sunset Café is open in compliance with the rules and sanitary measures imposed by the government, the number of people per table and respecting the distance between tables. It is an open and breezy area with a wonderful ocean view.
